Aha! Concepts is a creative studio in the DMV that makes video for companies, associations and nonprofits. Since 2012 we have made brand films, corporate videos, testimonials, event highlights and animation for clients from local businesses to brands like Under Armour, Kimberly-Clark, McCormick, Axon and Rocket Money.
We are a small, filmmaker-led crew. The people on your first call are the people who write, shoot, edit and color your film, so nothing gets lost in hand-offs. We film on location across Washington, DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, Fairfax, Reston, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Rockville and Prince George's County, and travel with field kits when the story is somewhere else.
Every project starts with one question: what should people feel, and what should they do next? The script, the shoot and the edit all serve that answer.

We are based in the DMV and work across DC, Maryland and Virginia. For shoots further out we travel with field kits.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with Anfon Ha and a small crew of filmmakers, producers and designers. No account layers, no hand-offs.
How much does a video cost?
Every film is scoped to its goal, length and shoot days. Tell us what you need and when, and we send a clear proposal.
Do you also do photography and headshots?
Yes. We photograph leadership, teams and events, often on the same visit. See photography and headshots.
Where in the DMV do you film?
Everywhere in the region: Washington, DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, Fairfax, Reston, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Rockville and Prince George's County. We come to your office, your event or your location.
Can you film at a conference or event?
Yes. We cover conferences, galas, fly-ins and trade shows with single or multi-camera crews, and turn the footage into highlight reels, sizzle reels and social cuts.
Do you write the script?
We can. Many projects start with a short call and a one-page creative brief, then a script or interview outline before anything is filmed.
Can one shoot give us more than one video?
Yes. We plan shoots so the same day produces a hero film plus shorter cuts for social, events and your website.
Do you work with associations and nonprofits?
Yes. We are a proud member of ASAE and make films for mission-driven organizations as well as companies.
